Finger Laced Crown World Premiere

Living Proof Pictures proudly announces the world premiere of its latest feature film, Finger Laced Crown, an LGBTQ+ coming-of-age drama written and directed by Brandon C. Lay.

The premiere will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the historic Civic Theatre of Allentown, Pennsylvania, on the Main Stage. Doors open at 5:30 PM for a cocktail hour, followed by the screening at 7:00 PM. After the film, audiences are invited to stay for a live Q&A with director Brandon C. Lay, lead actress Torez Mosley, and featured artist Tyrone Webb. The celebration will continue with an afterparty at Blended Bar & Grill in downtown Allentown.

Finger Laced Crown follows Lemon Drop, a 27-year-old artist navigating the fine art world while haunted by the emotional residue of a past relationship. Through a vivid blend of dreams, artistic inspiration, and complex relationships, Lemon Drop embarks on a journey of self-discovery and healing. The film stars Torez Mosley in a breakout performance, alongside Syd Stauffer, Sarah Cugini, Joshua Faturos, Steven Nazario, Maria Sole, Elizabeth Shumway, Lisa Woykowski, Searra Sawka, Felecia White, and veteran actor Daniel Roebuck. With a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes, the film is unrated but contains strong language, sexual content, and adult themes.

The film features an original score by Ryan Lutton and showcases visual artwork by Tyrone Webb, Liam Loof, and Anthony Smith. In a commitment to accessibility, Finger Laced Crown includes open captions throughout, ensuring the film is fully accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Finger Laced Crown has already garnered acclaim on the festival circuit, earning awards for Best Cinematography and Best Score at the Cobb International Film Festival. The film is the latest offering from Living Proof Pictures, an independent production company known for championing underrepresented voices and crafting bold, character-driven stories with dynamic female leads.
